This was a quick & easy recipe to make for a family gathering. I doubled the recipe exactly & added a bit more flour. Instead of the cheddar, I used velveeta cheese. Perfect. (Just ask my 3 boys)

This is by far the best macaroni and cheese I've ever made. I have been looking for an EASY homemade mac and cheese (I am not a fan of the "box" kind), and I am happy to say this is it!!!! Reminds of the kind my great-grandma used to make. This is comfort food at its finest. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I made this last night for dinner. This was the first time that I've ever made "homemade" macaroni and cheese. I used shell pasta instead of macaroni (using the same amount of uncooked pasta). I almost cooked additional pasta before I baked it because when I mixed the pasta with the cheese mixture it looked very soupy. It's a good thing that I didn't!! During the baking process, the liquid "evaporated". This is a recipe that will definitely be used again! Thanks for sharing!

Sorry to say my children did not enjoy this at all. Won't make it again.

We enjoyed this easy version of mac and cheese. It turned out a little dry so next time maybe I will add a little more milk or give it a little less cooking time. Thanks for sharing

Great recipe. I doubled the sauce part of it, because we love extra sauce. My oldest actually said he would eat this all the time if I make it from scratch and quit buying the boxed stuff. Will definitely make over and over.

Great basic mac&cheese recipie. DH wanted mac&cheese and knockwurst tonight. This was just the ticket. I put a tsp or so of brown mustard to give it a bit of zip, but that's purely personal.

This was easy to do and everyone agreed it was good. (I thought it would be too plain.) I thought the amount was about perfect for a side dish for 4-6. I would probably not serve as a main (with 3 servings) because, although good, it is not quite a superstar. I served it with Baked Pork Chops and Recipe #84440.

Ahhh! That hit the spot. I used whole wheat macaroni to make a small attempt to add some nutrients to the dish & it turned out great!! Mmm-Mmm Good!

I've used this recipe several times now and I love it, especially because it calls for regular cheese instead of "plastic" (american/velveeta) cheese, which I almost never have in my kitchen. Great no-nonsense recipe. It's even easier (and quicker) to make if you have a nuwave oven for the baking part.

My hubby said it was the best he ever had. I did increase the pasta by 1 cup, increased the cheese and a bit more salt. I baked just long enough to melt the cheese on top.

This was a hit with my husband. My three little ones didn't like it as well but they are used to the packaged mac-n-cheese. I thought it was very good also. It needed a little more salt but other than that it was good and very easy to make. I doubled the recipe and added a little more cheese.
