- 453.59 g ground beef
- 236.59 ml chopped onion
- 118.29 ml chopped green pepper (optional)
- 709.77 ml uncooked elbow macaroni (or similar shaped pasta)
- 793.78 g crushed tomatoes
- 418.15 g cream-style corn
- 118.29 ml half-and-half or 118.29 ml evaporated milk
- 473.18 ml shredded cheddar cheese, DIVIDED
- 3.69-4.92 ml salt
- 3.69 ml pepper
- 4.92 ml thyme
- 4.92 ml parsley
- 2.46 ml garlic powder
directions
- Brown ground beef in skillet with onion and green pepper; drain.
- Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
- In a large bowl or pot, combine drained beef mixture and drained noodles. Stir in crushed tomatoes, creamed corn, half and half, 1 cup of the cheese, and spices. Mix well.
- Pour into lightly greased/sprayed 13 " x 9" inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

This was really good, we enjoyed it greatly. This is like a home-made Hamburger Helper, but better. I didn't have any tomatoes so I used tomatoe paste, i didn't have any corn. Oh and we used ground turkey instead of ground beef. (grocery shopping time) :-) But overall this waa really tastee! thanks.
