I made this recipe on 3/15/11 for the " Sides "event in the Food Photo Forum,and most importantly mine and SO's dinner.Except for cutting the amount of mayonnaise down to 1/2 cup,and adding a lot of pepper the recipe was made as it was written.The baking time and temp. were " Spot On ".After tasting, we felt that " something " was missing,not sure what it was though.But,we both enjoyed the creaminess and tangy taste that the mayo gave this dish.Thank you for posting and, " Keep Smiling:)"

I've made this dish for the past 2 Thanksgiving holidays and everybody loves it. It's really easy to bake.
If good mac & cheese is what you're after, this is it. Simple ingredients you normally have on hand - my kids thought this was pretty great. Needed a teen friendly casserole for the babysitter and kids tonight, without resorting to something packaged. My only question mark would be the amount it serves - I measured out 8 ounces and I think it made the ideal amount for 4....6 would have been a stretch. Thanks keen - we have a go to mac recipe now!
This is super thick, creamy and rich! The mayonnaise sets this apart from similar recipes; it really makes a difference. I used cheddar and american cheeses in the greater amount listed. I used chopped fresh broccoli. If your kids won't eat broccoli, I'm quite certain that they'll eat this. This is a keeper. Thanx for sharing!
This was easy to prepare and quite tasty. The mayonnaise makes it very rich. I used cheddar because that's what I had. Good recipe!
