Thumbs up from the whole family! I used some Velveeta cheese also (mixed in the sauce mixture) and some shredded swiss in between the layers also. It was very good.

I have made this numerous times. Absolutely the BEST mac and cheese recipe in the world in my humble opinion. It is also the only mac and cheese I will ever make again and again and again!!!

This is an excellent Mac and cheese recipe. Evie said she used noodles, well I used macaroni(which might be the same to her) and this is just outstanding. The hot sauce just gives it a little zip, which I really like. BCD

So cheesy and good - easy to make, too. I added quite a few dashes of hot sauce, and next time will probably do even more (we love spicy), and maybe even a dash or two of worchestershire sauce to deepen the flavor. I only had a 3 qt. baking dish, but the entire recipe fit in the dish and baked up just great. To get a bit more browning, I broiled it on high for about 4 minutes. Delicious recipe that we'll be snacking on all day while watching football (and napping, no doubt). Thanks for posting this - really, really tasty!

This was great. I did add a few dashes or worcestershire sauce and a little extra hot sauce. I was out of parmasan so I topped it with mozzarella instead.

Fantastic! The kids were trying to sneak into the kitchen the last five or six minutes it was baking!
I added a quarter-cup of bacon bits, too but it was rather salty - next time I'm going to use cubed ham.

I thought this was very good. I didn't use much hot sauce at all, because I'm a total weakling when it comes to hot food. I actually think I will try it next time and see if I can handle it! Thanks again.

This is a wonderful mac and cheese recipe. I used soymilk instead of regular milk. I had to add more flour to build up the texture but the taste was still perfect. Thanks.
