Macadamia Nut Hummus

This is a Hawaiian-style hummus that is great to use as a spread on thinly sliced snack bread or as a dip for vegetables. It comes from a cookbook called Chefs of Aloha: Favorite Recipes from the Top Chefs of Hawaii (and is attributed to the Sheraton Waikiki).

YUM, what a great twist on your usual hummus. The macadamias add a wonderful taste and texture to this and the basil takes it over the top. Very fresh, flavourful and creamy! I used this as a spread with crudites and loved it. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this with us, NorthwesGal!
