Macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi

  • 6 ounces fresh mahi mahi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 ounce macadamia nuts
  • 1 ounce jalapeno seasoned bread crumbs (panko) or 1 ounce if this is not available use Italian seasoned breadcrumbs (panko)


  1. Coat the mahi mahi steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper. Combine the nuts and the crumbs; dredge the steaks in the mixture. Heat a cast iron pan or nonstick pan and sear the mahi mahi over medium heat 3 minutes each side for medium rare. garnish with asparagus.
