Flavor was a cross between a pancake and a cream puff. Split between my two girls, this was a way I could get an egg each down them!

We topped it with strawberries and whipped cream. Very good. Thanks!

This recipe does not work as well as others on this site. It also stuck to the dish much more than I expected. However the taste is good.

My mum made this for me heaps when I was a kid, and I made it for my wife today - however, mums recipe has 3 eggs (rather than 2) and emphasizes beating the initial mixture very throughly so it is fluffy. 3 eggs makes it taste a bit more like french toast mix than pancake mix (which I like by my wife doesn't) - also the mix goes in a buttered cake tin straight in the oven at 250C for ~10 minutes. Serve with lemon & sugar. Had mine with maple syrup instead this morning which was OK. Cas & Lisa
