Lychee liqueur is made from the small, sweet Asian fruit. It adds an exotic and refreshing taste to a tropical martini. The Lychee Lady, is served at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa on the Tahitian island of Moorea. This recipe has been posted here for the ZWT-7 tour of the South Pacific.
- 9.35 g gin
- 14.17 g lychee liqueur
- 2 ice cubes
- 0.25 ml grenadine
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake.
- Then pour the liquid into a martini glass and add a dash of grenadine syrup.
- Garnish with a tropical blossom and serve.
I loved this. I also made a similar version which used less lychee liqueur, but I liked this one better. I useda canned lychee for the garnish, which worked fine :) Made for ZWT& - Pacific Islands (Vivacious Violets)
I made one similar to this drink and this was sweeter very tasty. I garnishes with fresh lychee's. Thanks Made for ZWT 2011
