Lychee Lady Cocktail – a Tropical Martini from the Island

Lychee liqueur is made from the small, sweet Asian fruit. It adds an exotic and refreshing taste to a tropical martini. The Lychee Lady, is served at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa on the Tahitian island of Moorea. This recipe has been posted here for the ZWT-7 tour of the South Pacific.

I loved this. I also made a similar version which used less lychee liqueur, but I liked this one better. I useda canned lychee for the garnish, which worked fine :) Made for ZWT& - Pacific Islands (Vivacious Violets)

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 13 ounce gin
  • 12 ounce lychee liqueur
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 dash grenadine

Directions

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake.
  2. Then pour the liquid into a martini glass and add a dash of grenadine syrup.
  3. Garnish with a tropical blossom and serve.
