This is from my city newspaper, the Edmonton Journal. I like that it can be made in small batches and the syrup mixture keeps in the fridge. Excellent!
- Dissolve sugar in boiling water. Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice. Store, covered, in fridge. For a glass of lemonade, mix 2 or 3 tablespoons of syrup, to taste with a glass of water or club soda and ice cubes.
