This is from my city newspaper, the Edmonton Journal. I like that it can be made in small batches and the syrup mixture keeps in the fridge. Excellent!

Directions

  1. Dissolve sugar in boiling water. Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice. Store, covered, in fridge. For a glass of lemonade, mix 2 or 3 tablespoons of syrup, to taste with a glass of water or club soda and ice cubes.
