This stew is known as 'lucky' stew because you can make it stretch. If more people come, you can add more water and it becomes a soup. It tastes good and is economical!
- 1 lb ground beef, chunked
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1⁄2 lb carrot, sliced (I use baby carrots)
- 6 cups water
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
