This is a great recipe for a kind of goulash thing, not sure why it's called LBS and not goulash, but oh well - came from my mom. Hearty, pretty easy to make, and you can store and microwave leftovers for the next week!

This is a keeper. What took this gem so long to be reviewed? I selected this for a Tag game out of sheer curiosity, and I'm sure glad I did. Everyone in my family enjoyed it. We had it over buttered egg noodles. My husband suggested it might be good with a nice cut-up tri-tip or something along that line. So next time---and there will definitely be a next time--maybe I'll venture off the path and try a choice cut of beef. But even with ground beef, this is really a delicious dish. Everyone should try it at least once. Talk about comfort food. Yum Yum!

  1. Brown ground beef.
  2. Before done, add all other ingredients and simmer covered for 20-30 minutes.
