This cocktail was served at the 2010 annual spirits event, Tales of The Cocktail in New Orleans. Native Ted Breaux, absinthe historian and distiller shared this recipe featuring Lucid absinthe. Lucid was the first absinthe to be legally available in America after nearly 100 years. The recipe below is a classic, pre-prohibition cocktail, called The Olivette Cocktail, that has been adapted by Ted Breaux from The Savoy Cocktail Book, Harry Craddock, 1930.
