This is an alternative to Mayo. It is delicious on potato salad, coleslaw or on a sandwich.
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- Blend all ingredients together.
- Refrigerate until required.
Family trying to cut down on fats. I added a smidgin of celery salt, now this is the only "mayo" I use. Thanks for sharing
I made this and thought it was OK. Like one of the previous reviewers I thought it was a bit bland and needed a bit more pep. I think maybe some garlic and herbs? It's a good starting recipe though. I used Spanish paprika which is quite strong, but it does need something extra.
This was not bad but needed a little more flavoring. Maybe some garlic or ground red pepper. It's worth playing around with.
