I threw this together when I was thinking about a healthy, low fat snack. It's crunchy, sweet, and salty. Amounts of ingredients are approximate, so just play with them until you hit the right combination. Number of servings is a good guess!
- 1 (16 ounce) box Corn Chex (toasted corn squares cereal)
- 1 (16 ounce) box Wheat Chex (toasted wheat squares cereal)
- 1 (20 1/2 ounce) boxshredded frosted mini-wheats cereal
- 1 (16 ounce) can toasted almonds
- Combine all ingredients.
- Store in a covered container.
with 533 calories and 17 grams of fat this recipe is hardly low fat--also loaded with lots of sugar
