Low-Fat-Sesame-Orange Dressing

- 1⁄4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1⁄4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon freshly grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon reduced sodium soy sauce
directions
- Combine all ingredients and mix dressing in a small bowl with a whisk or, combine ingredients with a tight-fitting lid and shake to blend. If you aren't going to use it the same day, keep it tightly covered in the fridge. It lasts about a week.

I made this dressing as a marinade for salmon fillets. I have to "dress them up" in order for my DH to eat them! This marinade is outstanding! I also used it on a spinach salad today for lunch. Thanks luvie! I'll be using this often! I think this would be delicious on pork or chicken as well as fish or salad!

Cooking is my passion, and I am slowly, but surely beginning to venture into the world of baking. To me, cooking is so much easier because baking is so much more exact.
I love to make Italian and Mexican food the best, followed by Chinese and last, but by far the least, good old American food! How can you beat chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy?? I love to find several recipes and put my own spin on them and create a new recipe.
