This is a refreshing smoothie and low in fat.
- 1 cup non-fat soymilk
- 1 (19 fluid ounce) can unsweetened crushed canned pineapple
- 1 medium banana
- 1⁄4 teaspoon coconut flavoring
- In a blender, combine pineapple, break up banana and add coconut flavouring.
- Pour Soy milk into blender and mix until smooth.
I'm always looking for new smoothies, especially ones with soymilk. I did not have any coconut extract so I used some rum, thought I couldn't taste it anyway. My banana was frozen which gave it a little creaminess. I didn't think this had enough sweetness so I added a shake of splenda. While this combo was not my favorite it was a good solid smoothie to start my day. Thanks Shirl.
