Traditional mandarin orange cake with less fat due to substituting apple sauce for the oil.

Directions

  1. Mix cake mix, eggs, applesauce and oranges.
  2. Beat on high about 6 minutes.
  3. Put in a 9 x 13 pan, very well greased and floured.
  4. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees, or until cake is done.
  5. Let cool.
  6. Mix pudding and pineapple with juice, fold in a large tub of cool whip.
  7. Top cake with this.
  8. NOTES: Refrigerate.
