Very tasty. I used ginger instead of nutmeg. I am going to use candied ginger and dried cherries next time, for variation. Thanks for posting!

I really enjoyed this recipe. Loved the touch of nutmeg, however I think next time I might add a little extra zest. I like 'zing'. I did add some sliced almonds, but other than that, followed the recipe as written. Thanks kabu for a terrific treat.
