- 1 -2 garlic clove
- 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 1⁄8 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 dash cayenne
directions
- Chop the garlic in a food processor.
- Add the chickpeas, soy sauce and lemon juice and begin processing. If needed, add a tbsp of water, just enough so that the chickpeas become a smooth paste.
- Continue processing as you add the remaining ingredients.
- Put into a dish, sprinkle with extra paprika and serve.
- Or, for best flavour, refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
