- 2 cups dried peaches
- 2 cups whole pitted dried prunes
- 2 cups dried apricots
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
- 4 whole cloves
- 4 cups apple cider
directions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a large pot.
- Simmer covered over a medium heat for 1 hour.
- Serve warm.

Very nice tasting compote, but the amount was more than I wanted, so cut the recipe in half! Now I wish I hadn't since friends were interested in it! Ah, well, another time! I used the ingredients listed, but another time would like to include dried pears & the dried & chunky Fuji apples! Thanks for sharing! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Bargain Basement cooking game]
