  1. These were fabulous. My husband hates vegetables and thought they were mashed potatoes until he tasted them. He really liked them. I didn't even use the cream cheese because I'm on Weight Watchers. Great for kids. They will really like them.

  2. Way too creamy for me in the food processor. Next time I will only mash it roughly. I also over did the white pepper (which I am not letting affect my rating). Other than that it's a nice substitute for mashed potatoes.

  3. This is perfect for low carbers (which we're doing right now). I've made this quite a few times and was going to post it but you already did so thank you for doing that! I didn't have any garlic but otherwise followed it exactly. Wonderful!

  4. L-O-V-E it!! Unfortunately at little too much! I ate two servings myself! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  5. My fiance didn't like it as much as I did. *sigh* Oh well, I thought it was pretty good. Thanks!

Tweaks

  1. My family really enjoyed this. I used neufchatel cheese instead of cream cheese for less calories. It had a very rich creamy texture and was pretty simple to prepare.

Hmm... let's see.. Cooking is my passion... I'm retired now and able to cook and bake every day. I think the most helpful cookbook that I own would have to be The New Doubleday Cookbook. I just love kitchen gadgets and have many of them. Besides cooking I love to sing and belong to the Sweet Adeline's International. I get very annoyed at people who are LATE! I think it's just as easy to be late as it is to be on time. Well.. thanks to all of you at Zaar for all of your terrific recipes and ideas that bring my friends and family much joy and happiness. They get to try all of my new recipes.
