I have 3 simple and true words to describe this: 1. Dark, 2. Chocolatey and 3. Yummy! I substituted the cornstarch with cornflour. I stirred the 6 ingredients mixture until it began to boil and thicken. I made this for dessert this afternoon and served it with freshly cut up bananas. My brother who is real fussy about food, rolled his tongue countless times around his lips and asked for more:) Thank You for sharing this low-fat yum yum dessert!
Yummy fondue. I made it for a New Year's Eve party a few days ago and we polished off the whole pot. I did make it with skim milk because my test run a couple of days before tasted watery, but then I subbed Splenda for the sugar to cut the calories back down. We ate it with apples, bananas, clementines and marshmallows. Really excellent recipe.
ohhhhh so good! The leftovers makes a nice chocolate drizzle for ice cream too
Spectacular! i've made this three times now. SO good just the way it's written! However, i've found that if i use 1 T. of cornstarch it thickens much more and it sticks better to whatever we're dipping. Also, if you're dipping something that's not as sweet you might want to increase the sugar by 1/4 c. or so. But, if you're dipping sweet stuff, it's perfect with 1/4 c. sugar. Thanks for the recipe paula!
Wonderful!! My boyfriend and I thought this was spectacular. We dipped marshmallows in it, and then made s'mores! Thanks so much for the recipe.
I did not find this tastee at all. If you are going to have chocolate fondue, go for the fat!
