Being a banana cream pie lover on a low fat diet, I threw this mix together and couldn't believe how much it tasted like the real thing!! Guilt free.
- 1 small banana, sliced
- 2 sheets low-fat graham crackers, broken in small pieces
- 2 cups fat-free vanilla pudding (I use Hunt's)
- 1 cup fat-free cool whip
- Mix together banana slices, graham cracker pieces and vanilla pudding in a medium sized bowl.
- Scoop mixture evenly between 2 dessert dishes and top with cool whip.
What can I say? Thank you so much for posting this recipe. I am a diabetic who is always looking for dessert ideas. I love banana cream pie and this is a great substitute. Even my husband, who is a dessert freak loved it. This is so easy to throw together and fills you up.
I made this today, and mmm, mmm, mmm! My son & husband are BIG banana pudding fans and this is a terrific low fat substitute. Thanks for the recipe!
This is a delightful, relatively healthy dessert. I used a bag of 100 Calorie Cinnamon Graham Crackers packs, crushed it up, and used that for the graham pieces. I also used Jell-o sugar-free vanilla pudding. I refrigerated it for a few hours before eating it, and really, really enjoyed it. Thank you for such a simple dessert idea!
