This bread turned out beautifully! Extremely moist, I thought the sweetness was perfect. I followed the directions and made one loaf. I didn't tell my boyfriend it was lowfat until it was halfway gone. He never guessed!

Excellent! Very moist and tasty and with very little butter too! And so fast to prepare. Looking forward to making this again and making it into muffins too! Thanks for posting!

I forgot the butter completely and this was still very yummy! I only had two bananas so I added more applesauce. Easy, yummy, and low guilt! Thanks for sharing this one!

I just took this out of the oven and couldn't wait to taste it. I loved it! It is a very dense cake, but I like that texture in baked goods. I used 3/4 cup Splenda in place of the sugar because I wanted to make it less calories. A cup of sugar in a low-fat recipe sounds like an awful lot to me. It did not come out overly sweet at all with the 3/4 cup of Splenda, but I prefer things less sweet. Other than the Splenda substitution, I made the recipe exactly the way it was written. I am very glad to have this recipe since I don't like to eat fattening baked goods, I will make this often and not have to feel even one bit guilty eating it!

Great tasting bread.. I subbed 2 T oil for applesauce and also added chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. It was sort of dense though for us.. May be beating the butter and eggs first and then folding in dry ingred would help next time. Overall, will make this again with a more structured procedure than what is given here.

I Love this recipe. My version includes 1/4 Splenda brown sugar in place of the white sugar, no butter, but 1 cup of homemade, unsweetened, chunky applesauce, and I use whole-wheat flour instead of white. Yummy!

This was WAY easy to make and the result tasted fabulous! I don't think anyone would be able to even tell that this is low-fat. I'm definitely making this one again.
