      As my mother never used to say, "Yowza!" I'm Somersizing, that means meat without carbs, and this is fantastic! I love the idea of pureeing the tomatoes and making a sauce. I used tons of extra garlic, and did the whole thing in the crock pot. I used a much smaller roast, but still used the same quantity of the rest of the ingredients. This was so easy. I took some of the meat in to work the next day and nuked it up in the office. I made everyone jealous with the heavenly smell. I actually threw in some frozen green beans the second time around and they cooked up in the meat juices and sauce. Definitely something I'll be making again and again. Kol hakavod, Chia!

      Yummy! I actually made it in my crock pot and doubled the sauce and onions, plus I added mushrooms. Great comfort food. I tagged this recipe for the "Diabetes Awareness Month Tag Game."

      Great pot roast - even for those not on a low-carb diet. I used 2 cloves of garlic (minced) in place of the garlic powder. Pureeing the sauce makes it very rich and gravy-like.
