A nice treat during your low carb/ketogenic diet
Make and share this Low Carb Choose-Your-Own-Flavor Cheesecake recipe from Food.com.
- 2 (1/3 ounce) boxes sugar-free jello (any flavor -Strawberry is AWESOME!)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- Dissolve JELL-O into boiling water.
- Stir in whipping cream.
- Add cream cheese, mix until blended.
- Chill 1 to 2 hrs before serving.
Made it with lime jello and it was fabulous! Very, very easy to make and so low in carbs. Perfect for my low-carb lifestyle. I look forward to making other flavors in the future. UPDATE: For my second attempt, I used strawberry and switched the directions a bit. I added the cream cheese after the jello and then whipped the cream and folded it in. It came out much fluffier this time.
WOWOWOW!! This is so good! What an amazing treat to have on my low carb diet :) I've made this with raspberry and cherry jello so far. I prefer the raspberry, but can't wait to try other flavours. This has really saved me from raiding the treat cupboard while on a low carb diet. It really helps take away those sweet cravings while eating a very low carb treat! Thanks for posting!! :)
My husband and I are cutting back on sugar and carbs, so I was really excited to try this recipe. I used Strawberry sugar free jello as recommended and it was REALLY good! Very filling and satisfied that craving for sweets. Can't wait to try another flavor!
