  1. Made this because of the ratings but was very disappointed. Took a lot longer to bake plus only made one loaf but the worst was the taste. Way too sweet. Won't make this again.

  2. I tweeked this a bit per the reviews... I also used 3/4 c. oats instead of all-purpose flour, and I added a few tablespoons of walnuts and a bit of cinnamon too. Instead of baking a loaf, I made 18 muffins out of it. They were rather thin muffins, so if you want a more substantial size muffin I'd only make 12 b/c they don't puff up much! Loved the orange flavor! Good recipe to work from !

  3. This had a nice flavor with the orange-banana combination. I did add chopped walnuts. What size loaf pans were used? I only got one 9 x 5 inch loaf, and just barely. You must have been using small pans?

  4. I like this recipe a lot. I did substitute oatmeal for the 3/4 cup all purpose and omitted the oranges. It is very good though my little sister and my dad love it.
