    Low Cal/ Fat Free Garlic Mashed Potatoes

    These potatoes have a wonderful flavor with no calories from fat. I developed this dish for just my wife and I but anyone should be able to easely multiply the servings.

    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    Units: US | Metric

    • 3 medium potatoes (abt 3/4 pound)
    • 2 large garlic cloves, smashed
    • 1 teaspoon Butter Buds or 1 teaspoon Molly McButter
    • 1/4 cup fat-free half-and-half

    Directions:

      Chop potatoes into 1/2" (aprox) cubes.
    2. 2
      Combine potatoes and garlic and add water to cover.
    3. 3
      Boil about 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Don't overcook.
    4. 4
      Drain potatoes and garlic and place in a food processor.
    5. 5
      Gently process until almost smooth.
    6. 6
      Sprinkle with Butter Buds.
    7. 7
      Process while adding half & half until desired texture is achieved, being careful not to overprocess.

      Very nice recipe! Used yukon gold potatoes to complete a buttery flavor.
