This recipe comes from The Roof of the Park Plaza, Toronto, Canada. Post for ZWT 4.
- 1⁄2 ounce gin
- 1⁄2 ounce alize gold passion liqueur (a passion-fruit liqueur)
- 6 tablespoons dry champagne, chilled
- raspberries (to garnish)
- In a champagne flute, combine gin and liqueur and top off with champagne.
- Garnish drink with raspberries.
I used white rum cause I was out of gin. But I think that's a good substitution. I love rum. I thought I didn't have alize gold so I used Hpnotic (which is blue and a blend of cognac and fruit). But after I saw that I had alize gold. So I tried it again with rum and alize gold. Both versions are very good. We loved this a lot. Thanks Mary. Made for Holiday tag.
