I added into the syrup a cinnamon stick and topped the loukoumades with lots walnuts absolutely delicious

This is a wonderful recipe for loukoumades! I did increase the yeast slightly for this recipe, and used thyme honey... the trick to making these is not to add in too much flour, the dough has to hold together but still be a bit sticky otherwise the fryed dough will be tough. We really enjoyed these, thanks so much Echo!...Kitten:)
