I loved this quick to prepare soup. I doubled the recipe so it would fill my crockpot and didn't thaw the vegetables and meatballs before adding. I had the crockpot on high for 1 hour and on low for another 3 hours. The pasta added at the end was whole wheat rotini. I'll be freezing the leftovers for another day. Thanks for posting.
WOW!!!THIS WAS FABULOUS & EASY TOO!!!
Its been getting colder here in the midwest and I was craving a warn bowl of soup. This was that and more! I used a large (29 oz) can of mixed veggies instead of frozen because I had it on hand. I used "The Best Homemade Meatballs" from Family Fun Magazine which I'll post here in a minute. Also used 3/4 of a (16oz) bag of Cavatappi. It turned out AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!
I did not have any stewed tomatoes so I added a jar of spaghetti sauce - it was delicious!
OH this is deliciouso! I had been making Meatball Soup and love it but needed a walk away from recipe as well. Very flavorful. I froze most (all but 3 seervings). I then made a seperate pot of pasta to add to the 3 servings I kept apart for lunch. I did add 4 cloves of minced garlic for taste. We love garlic here. This is exactly what I need when I am cooking at the stove for the week but want a meal on the table for dinner as well. Thank you! 5 stars for convenience, 5 stars for taste!
This was easy and delicious! I used Hubby-Will-Inhale-Them Meatballs for the meatballs and diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil for the stewed tomatoes. I had this going in my crockpot all day and we could eat a hot meal when we got home. We add the pasta to the individual servings so that the leftovers would not make the pasta too soggy. Thanks for posting :)
