  1. In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  2. Transfer 2 a 5 qt.
  3. slow cooker.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or until vegetables are tender.

this is like a thick vegetable soup. i left the pot on low for 2 hours and the stew was cold so i put it on hi for 2 hours and ate on time.
