I have no idea where I got this recipe but I do know that we have made it for the last forty years and love it.

Directions

  1. Butter a pie tin. Fill it with peeled and sliced apples. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over the applies. Add topping. 1/2 cup softened butter 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1 cup flour. Mix together into crumbs and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 until apples are done (aprox. 30 minutes).
