I don't know if my friend Lorena made up her own recipe for this popular drink or if she got it from someone, but she's who I got it from- so she gets the credit! This is a great, sorta spicy but refreshing beer cocktail that pairs well with Salt & Vinegar chips and Mexican Novellas! Sort of like a Mexican Bloody Mary.. All the ingredients are adjustable to your own taste; want it spicier? Add more hot sauce. Tangier? More lemon! I use a 7oz bottle for one serving, but a regular 12oz bottle when I'm making two drinks or one large drink for myself, lol (I just don't quite double the other ingredients).

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 7 ounces Bud Light beer
  • 12 cup Clamato juice
  • 14-12 lemon, juiced (or use bottled)
  • 4 -6 dashes maggi seasoning (may substitute Soy Sauce)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • ice cube


  1. Combine all ingredients in a 14 oz or larger glass. Take a sip to test if you'd more lemon juice or salt, etc and adjust accordingly.
  2. Add ice, stir, and enjoy!
