Nice tasting chili. DH and I enjoyed it. I've never seen a chili recipe that didn't call for kidney beans so I added a 8 oz can white kidey beans.
I've never been to a Lone Star Steakhouse, so don't know how this compares. It was simple and very good. I made it as directed except that I had to use an orange bell pepper as my green one went bad. Thanks Todd Arrants for sharing. Made for PAC Spring 2010.
Surprise, surprise ~ "Texas Pete" hot sauce wasn't as hard to find as I first though it would be, although I did end up buying it online! I did, however, cut back a little on its use, at least this 1st time! And, although I most often make chili with chicken (or as in the last time, as a vegetarian dish), the ground beef was a nice change from all that, so thanks for sharing your recipe with us!
