Like the other reviewer, I did not have any sherry. But I had some specialty vinegar "ginger and honey" flavor which I used instead. Hubby liked this LB a lot. He liked the marinade so much that he asked me to make it up again with his next steak. For that it gets 5 stars!!

YUM! I picked out this recipe because I wanted a London Broil recipe that wasn't covered in Cream of Mushroom soup, etc.and I had all the ingredients. Or I thought I did. I was fixing up the marinade and realized that I did not have cooking sherry, and on a whim I just splashed in some red wine vinegar! Next time I'll make sure I have sherry on hand, though. It ended up marinating for slightly more than a day but that worked out great because the flavor really got into the meat. We will be making this again.
