Lola Alma's Walnut Tarts

Walnuts can be substituted by other nuts.

• Prep Time: 30 mins
• Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 50 tarts

• ½ cup butter , softened
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
• 3 cups flour
• 1 ½ cups light brown sugar
• 1 ½ cups dark brown sugar
• 2 cups crushed walnuts
• 2 eggs
• ¼ cup butter , melted

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. FOR CRUST: Mix first three ingredients. This can be refrigerated if you'd like to make ahead.
3. Place dough into smallest cupcake containers. Make sure the crusts reach to the top.
4. FOR FILLING: Mix remaining ingredients together.
5. Place filling into the crust.
6. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
