This was my favorite salad in the world when they had it at Smokey Bones. I was so sad when they got rid of it. I made this last night, but I have to admit I didn't measure anything and I used glazed pecans. I used a mexican cheese blend and Hidden Valley spicy ranch dressing. It was amazing! Very close to Smokey Bones.

Great salad, we love sesame sticks and sunflower seeds. I left out the pecans and wasabi peas. I used ranch dressing but I think thousand island or honey mustard would also have been good. My husband suggested bacos next time.

I brought this to a dinner party as a side salad, so I did not include any meat in it. I made the dressing specified (actually I had previously rated it VERY favorably anyway) and used all the ingredients called for except the toasted pecans. I was out, so I used honey roasted peanuts. This was fabulous and I will definitely make it again as a meal salad! Thanks for posting!

This is SO good. I now make it all the time, and use the Spicy Tex-Mex dressing. It's pretty addictive. If I'm just making it for myself, I leave out most of the cheese (except for the asiago) and also the pecans.

This was an AMAZING salad. The variety of ingredients was very different from typical salad fare. I have never had Smokey Bones salad, but I can highly recommend this AND the dressing the chef includes. I could eat this for every meal. We have little kids, so the second time I made it (3 times in one week, that is how much I like this), I left out the wasabi peas (too HOT), and the sesame sticks. I couldn't find small sesame sticks, and the Keeblers that I found were too big, and added too much salt to the salad. Definitely serve for company. Expect compliments!

This makes a huge salad. We loved the combination of flavors. I toasted a couple of tortillas to go with and had a wonderful meal. Thanks!
