    I haven't tried this yet but I found this in "The Best of Mr. Food 15-Minute Recipes" magazine which my daughter gave me before we left for California. It sounded quick and yummy. For the sherry you can substitute chicken broth.

    Directions:

      Melt butter i a dutch oven over medium heat. Saute minced onion 1 minute or until tender. Add flour, stirring until blended. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly.

      Gradually add milk and next 4 ingredients. Bring just to a simmer; cook, uncovered 15 to 18 minutes or until slightly thickened (do not boil). Stir in lobster and chives.

      Well let me be the first to rate this great tasting soup. First I would like to point out a slight error. 1 cup lobster meat is about 1/2 pound. I doubled this recipe and served as an appetizer for 10 this past Mother's Day. It was a great success! I used shallots in place of onion. And my thicking took about 21 minutes. This bisque has great flavor and is easy to prepare. Thanks for sharing. I will prepare this again. George
