    Well as you parents know, summer time can heighten your grocery bill. Well to remain consistent with our budget and not bored them with the same foods, my daughter and I created a new recipe we call, "loaded Texas Toast"

    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    Units: US | Metric

    • 1 cup chicken breast, cubes
    • 1/2 cup black olives
    • 1 cup crumbled turkey bacon
    • 1 cup pizza sauce (also garlic sauce can be used) or 1 cup spaghetti sauce (also garlic sauce can be used)
    • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
    • 7 Texas toast thick bread (brand doesn't matter)

    Directions:

      Spread sauce on each piece of toast.
    2. 2
      Add remaining ingredients in no special order with shredded cheese off to the side.
    3. 3
      After adding ingredients, Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
    4. 4
      Place in oven for 7-8 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread starts to brown.

      Add parmesan cheese after you take toast out the oven.
