Well as you parents know, summer time can heighten your grocery bill. Well to remain consistent with our budget and not bored them with the same foods, my daughter and I created a new recipe we call, "loaded Texas Toast"

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup chicken breast, cubes
  • 12 cup black olives
  • 1 cup crumbled turkey bacon
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (also garlic sauce can be used) or 1 cup spaghetti sauce (also garlic sauce can be used)
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 7 Texas toast thick bread (brand doesn't matter)

Directions

  1. Spread sauce on each piece of toast.
  2. Add remaining ingredients in no special order with shredded cheese off to the side.
  3. After adding ingredients, Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  4. Place in oven for 7-8 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread starts to brown.
  5. Add parmesan cheese after you take toast out the oven.
