This was very good. I had 14.6 oz. of rotini & I was short 3 oz. of evap. milk (& forgot to add 2% milk to make up the difference) but all in all it was very good. I crushed some butter & garlic flavored croutons & sprinkled them over the top before baking - & only baked x45 min. We had enough to share w/2 neighbors & they gave this dish a thumbs up as well.

My family really enjoyed this dish at our Thanksgiving lunch today. Only change I made was I just used one stick of butter instead of two.

Great simple ecipe with great flavor and texture. Don't have to cook tonight . Leftovers a plenty sine there are only 4 of us.Real cheesy too !! Made for Recipe Swap #31.

Was gonna make this in two baking dishes, keeping one for us & the other for a neighbor couple who loves mac & cheese! However, they ended up with company so I took all of it over to them (well, almost all of it) & they were very pleased with it! The recipe for this very tasty dish is very much a keeper! This was very good in flavor -- especially the second day!! Not as creamy as I would have hoped, but that might have been my fault (had to use part evaporated milk and part regular milk). Will try again using all evaporated milk. The only other thing was that a lot of the butter actually ended up pooling at the top, so might cut down on the butter next time.

I have never made baked Mac and Cheese, I married a Southern Boy who said the only Mac and Cheese is backed Mac and Cheese. We had some on Thanksgiving, and I listened to the recipe too many things. I looked at this one and said hmmm got to try as a comfort food for a friend.... it was perfect, and very very good. I didn't need the full hour to bake. I usually modify recipes and was talking with the family after trying, they said keep as it is!
