This came out very good. I made my own mashed potatoes to use in the recipe. They became very creamy and flavorful in this dish. Thanks!

I used fresh potatoes, omitted the bacon, used half of the herb cheese called for, and then added 1/4 c. sour cream. The result was awesome! We had with sour cream chicken and they went great together!

I used my own mashed potatoes for this in place of the packaged, something told me I should omit the bacon but added it anyway, that was a mistake, and also I did not care for the herb cream cheese flavour added to the potatoes, I might try this again without the bacon and a different flavor of cream cheese and definately less milk, thank you for sharing!

Very easy and tasty! Next time i will omit the bacon if i use instant mashed potatoes because it was too salty. Made for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers, ZWT4

Good way to use left over mashed potatoes. I did omit the bacon as I was out because of BLTs the night before......but I can only imagine that it would only make this more decadent. Thank you for a new GREAT side. Made for ZWT4 Zingo by a CHIC CHEF.

These were very good and easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly except I had to use chive and onion cream cheese because our store didn't carry the right kind. I got to use fresh chives from my garden too!! Thanks so much for posting!

I made these to go with our fried chicken. I did use the frozen potatoes as stated but I recommend using fresh ones instead. I also only used half of the garlic & herb cheese spread and it was plenty. Made for Zingo ZWT 4

Yum! I made this with home made mashed potatoes, otherwise made as directed. Really good and creamy. The whole family loved these. I made this to go with Alberta Flank Steak and it was a great combination. Thanks debee for a new keeper. Made for ZWT4 Zingo.

Geez Debee, what a really easy and wonderfully tasty recipe! I dont know why I've never tried this before!! I've seen similiar recipes but just never tried them! Wow I'm glad I did tonite. We enjoyed this casserole with Alberta Flank Steak instead of our normal baked potatoes. I'll be adding this into our potato rotation. Made for ZWT4.

OMG, these potatoes are absolutely delicious and so easy/simple to make any night of the week!!!! I have seen my grocery store carry the frozen Ore Ida mashed potatoes, but for some reason they were out or discontinued shelving them, so I had to substitute, I used another brand of already made mashed potatoes that are in the refrigerator section called "Simply Mashed Potatoes". I left out the 1/2 cup milk because they already have added milk and butter in them, and then it would have been soupy. I then followed recipe as written. I have plenty of leftovers as my DS, pigged out over at a friends house and DH is out of town, so it was just DD and I. Now DD just got home from work and is leaving to see boyfriend and wanted to heat something up quickly to eat, and she heated these up and the smell made me so hungry, even though I ate lunch around 3 pm!!! Great recip debee, will definitely make this often and for company!!!! Made for ZWT4.

These potatoes are delicious! I followed the recipe exactly , no subs or anything. The only thing I think I MIGHT do differently the next time is cut down on the amount of the garlic and herb spreadable cheese by about 1/3. Creamy, delicious baked potato casserole. This was great, thanks so much for posting!!

Made this as a late dinner last night. Very easy to make. Everybody flipped over it! I used a bag of OM Real Bacon Pieces instaed of the 4 slices of bacon, shredded monterey jack instead of the cheddar, and added grren onions as a garnish. We are toying with the idea of converting this recipe to make potato pancakes with it...yum! Thanks for posting this!
