This is very similar to the "Easy Liver Birthday Cake or Treats for Dogs" recipe. It does have added ingredients however. The source is unknown . . . it was given to me by Greyhound friends of mine. All of our guys loved it! Warning: it smells awful when baking!

2 lbs chicken livers
2 cups cornmeal
2 cups wheat germ
2 eggs
2 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic (not garlic salt or fresh garlic)
1/2 cup dried parsley (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Liquefy the livers in a food processor; pour into a separate bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth like brownie batter. Spread out evenly on a parchment paper-lined jelly roll pan (1/2 sheet cake size). Dough should be about 1/3” – 1/2" thick.

Bake for 35-40 minutes.

When cool, cut into squares or other preferred shapes. Refrigerate in a ziplock bag.
