After reading the other reviews, I just barely added the brown sugar. I used chives, and I was really glad I did...never had chives with carrots before, and they added another dimension to this lowly root vegetable. Chives definitely took the carrot to another level! Thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for holiday tag.
