Bravo!! Very good stuff, though I'd recommend 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt instead of a full teaspoon. They baked really nice at eight minutes.
These satisfy my crazy bread cravings every time! I add a little garlic powder to the butter and brush a coat on the bread then sprinkle parmesan cheese on top then brush another layer over the parmesan and bake! Soooo gooood!!!!
Very very good. Teenage boys absolutely gobbled these up. A real keeper!!!
I took Sunset Sam's advice and used 1/2 tsp garlic salt, then added a few dashes of regular garlic powder. It satisfies my Crazy Bread cravings I ocassionaly have. :)
I had to make homemade pizza dough to do this recipe. (Which I would recommend anyway!-- Easy Peezy Pizza dough here in Zarr.) The sauce turned out great and I used it in Pizza instead of sticks. And am sure as bread sticks would have been just as wonderful! The recipe has already been changed to reflect the 1/2 tea. garlic salt over one teaspoon. That easily can be adjusted to taste! Very good!
I forgot about Sunset Sam's suggestion of 1/2 tsp garlic salt...they really are too salty with a whole tsp. Other than that, they had a nice texture and went nicely with our soup. (I skipped the sauce).
Used to work at little Caesars a couple years ago. If you want real copy cat crazy bread coat the bread after it comes out of the oven with the butter and cheese. That's how the real bread is done :)
these did not raise for me. I used a store bought pizza crust.
