Thanks for the great recipe. I made this for Easter but used the sugar free lemon pudding and added some lemon zest for freshness. I frosted an angel food cake with it and it was HEAVEN! I had to have two slices! Good thing its light ;)

I used regular pudding mix, not sugar free. I also used Tru Whip instead of Cool Whip to try to make it a little more healthy. very nice light frosting will be using this more

As everyone else has said, this is great! I used this frosting on a French vanilla cake with strawberry filling. Tasted like strawberry shortcake, but better! This can be done many different ways which is the beauty of it. I chilled the frosting while the cakes cooled and it was perfectly thickened by the time I was ready to use it. Extremely delicious, and simple! Thanks, kmdipaolo!

This was scrumptious! I used fat free sugar free white chocolate pudding instead of vanilla, because it was all I had in the house, and it turned out wonderfully. I used this easy, delicious frosting to frost a white angel food cake with raspberry filling, and it was absolutely perfect. Light, lowfat, and undeniably delicious! Thank you for posting. It took all of 3 minutes to make and almost less time to devour. :)

Excellent!! Personally I love all frosting, but the rest of my family aren't big fans because they think it is too sweet...but this they LOVED! I did add just a little bit (maybe 1/4cup) of powdered suger to mine. I will make it again for sure...next on my list will be a lemon cake with lemon cool whip frosting!!

I love this. But I did not use the sugar free pudding or lite cool-whip though. Full fat for me! It is great with any flavor pudding, not merely choc and vanilla too.
