My new favorite chocolate chip recipe! Made them several times with swirled and regular chips! I love the texture and they have the perfect amount of salt! They looked dry coming out of the oven but the center is moist and chewy! Everyone requests them now!

I may have found a new chocolate chip cookie recipe! I like chocolate chip cookies that are on the thinner less cakey side so these were perfect for me. This recipe made 42 for me, although I think it could have made 45-48 since I made some of them large. I also made a few soft and left a few longer so I could have some crispy cookies too. My changes to the recipe were: used 1/4 cup less white sugar and 1/4 cup less brown sugar and I used semisweet Ghiradelli chips in the mix and topped the cookies with milk chocolate Ghiradelli chips.

These are such amazing cookies! I like mine with milk chocolate chips and m&m's. These cookies are great because they're not light and cakey, they have the perfect texture and amount of sweetness!

These cookies are fantastic...I only used white choc. chips. Mine turned out a little thicker than my family likes so I will need to find a way to thin them out next time.

These cookies turned out perfectly! A tiny crunch on the outside and so moist and tender on the inside! I am making them again tomorrow because they were gone so fast! Thank you!!!

I loved this recipe. I made it two times and sifted my dry ingredients instead. Thes second time I made them I used 2 cups of milk choclate morsels and 2 cups of Mint Dark Chocolate morsels b/c they were in season! My family enjoyed it very much. I wouldn't tweak the recipe at all!

Just want to add my praise to these. I cut this recipe in half and used butter and 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips along with about 3/4 cup of 60% bittersweet chocolate chips (I know it's weird, but I'm not a chocolate fanatic.) These are absolutely delicious. Thanks for the great recipe. I'll definitely be using it for now on.

The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Hands down.
Delicious dough. Delicious cookie. Bakes up thick and delicious. THIS is what chocolate chip cookies are made of.

I was looking for this recipe in my reviews and realized that I had never reviewed it! These are great cookies! Nice big batch and even good with whole wheat flour. Thanks so much, no need for any other chocolate chip cookie recipes!

***** Not that this needed another review--but here goes... These were GREAT! I amde with large cookie scoop and flattened a bit before baking. Baked at 12 minutes each until almost done. Let them finish on the cookie sheet at least 15 minutes out of the oven. these were PERFECTION! I used 2 sticks butter and 1 stick margarine and used semi-sweet choc chips-not swirled. Would be great for school lunches & bake sales using mini M&M's!

Good cookies! I only had 1 cup of butter at room temp, so I also used 1/2 cup of shortening. In addition I needed to use up some bread flour, so used that instead of all-purpose. I got cookies that were quite flat once cooled, very crisp edges, while the center was chewy. I'm eating them while still warm, so I hope they are still soft in the middle when they're cold!

This is amazing!!! The best moist chewy chocolate chip cookies made with margarine
so easy to make
literally dumping everything together and baking
I had to bake for almost 20 minutes before they were light brown
but then again my oven is weird
nonetheless they turned out perfect :D
thank you so much :DDDDD

I guess I must have done something wrong...everyone else is mentioning the dough being "dry" and "thick" and "hard to stir" but mine was very very wet, really non-floury, and extremely easy to stir! It was so soft that I had trouble getting it off of my fingers and onto the pan! That said, the cookies are DE. LI. CI. OUS. I baked 1/3 without chips, 1/3 with just a few milk chocolate chips per cookie, and 1/3 with about a cup and a half of mixed milk choc chips, semi-sweet chips, and semi-sweet chunks. They are SO thin and the chips look like boils or something, but they taste great!

These are great! I made them last night when DD requested ice cream sandwiches. I made your recipe (using semi sweet chocolate chips) only added some walnuts. Then we add a scoop of ice cream between two of them....mmmmmmm. I didn't think you could improve much on a chocolate chips cookie, but these are really good. I agree with another reviewer, in they are better the next day. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.
