- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
directions
- Mix all ingredients except for the butter. Warm butter to room temperature. cut butter into pieces then mix with the rest of the mixture. Use for Apple Crisp.

It was good, just not quite was I was looking for. I was looking for more of a 'white' struesel. It would be good on anything Apple though. I used it on a dessert pizza brushing the pizza crust with butter, sprinkling this on, then drizzling with icing once cooled slightly. Everyone else really like it but I was after something different (although no one else knew that!)
